Here we are in the Kingdom
of Alfredo, crowned the "King of Fettuccine" by overseas
gourmets who have been making the trip to this truly unfading establishment
since the years of silent films. The legendary triple butter fettuccine
(secret recipe) are still today served with the golden spoons given
to the first generation Alfredo by Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford.
Today, to welcome guests in the "American Graffiti"-style
dining room completely covered with old photos of Ava Gardner, Gregory
Peck, Frank Sinatra, etc. is Super-Mario with his staff of excellent
waiters, perfect hosts. Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Rod Steiger, Megan
Gale, Mel Gibson, Barbara D'Urso and Antonio Albanese are all willing
to return here.
